Rail Budget 2016 Promises New Trains With Better Facilities.

No Rail Fare Hike :

 Rail Budget 2016 has given many goodies to Rail Travellers, but the most important news is that the existing  Rail fares for passengers and freight have not been increased. This will be a good news lakhs of passengers who use railways in the upcoming summer vacations to go to their native places or or travel to one of the many exotic destinations in India.

New Fully Unreserved, Super Fast, Long Distance Trains:

Looking at the plight of unreserved train travellers, new Long Distance, Super Fast, Fully Unreserved trains called Antyodaya Express will be run on high density routes, and more unreserved coaches called Deen Dayalu Coaches will be attached to some long distance trains.

New Trains For Reserved Passengers :

Humsafar - Fully Air conditioned third AC train.

Tejas - High Speed Train running at speed of 130 kph and above, with on board services like Wi-Fi, Local Cuisine, entertainment.

UDAY - Overnight double decker trains, running on high traffic routes.

These were some of the highlights of the Rail Budget 2016 which will be very useful for the Indian railway passengers, and I feel coming holiday season will test these new promises made by the   Minister Railways Mr. Suresh Prabhu.
